September 2 - Marcia Soderman Art Talk - 6PM - Please join us for an informal talk with Marcia about her art and travels. Meet your friends and neighbors at Key North and make an evening of it.
September 15 - Art Opening - Ingrid Restemayer and K F Willington - 5-7PM - Please join us as we welcome Restemayer and her intricate stitched and torn paper collages, and K F Willington's luminous botanical paintings set against light filled skies. It will be an evening of being in an introspective dimension.
September 22 - Neighborhood Fest 6-9PM - Nicollet Island - Join your friends and neighbors on Nicollet Island for food and music and a great sampling of all the local business establishments have to offer. You'll learn a great deal more about your neighborhood and meet and greet the neighbors - all in the prettiest setting in town!
September 25 - Fashion Week Show - The local boutiques will gather for a show of the latest in fashion on the runway. Details will follow, but pencil your calendar to spend the day Northeast.
October 7 - Shop for AccessAbility, Inc - All Day - 10%
of the proceeds of our tills will go to support this dynamic
organization which provides immediate paid work and training for people
with disabilities who want to work and be productive. Who doesn't want
the opportunity for self-sufficiency and community inclusion? We all do better when we all do better.
October 22 - The Great Pumpkin Grab - 4-7 PM - This is the day that all true Northeasters congregate to purchase their farm-fresh pumpkins, dress in outlandish costumes for a contest, and hit the neighborhood businesses for in-store (or maybe sidewalk if the weather allows) specials and also general celebration. Plan to stay for dinner!
November 20 -10-6 - Pre-Holiday Boutique Crawl - It's that time of year again! All the stops will be pulled as the local boutiques get together for a day of discounts, door prizes, store specials, food and drink and general merriment. When you shop Northeast you get more for your money! More details to come.
December 4 - Spin to Win Bonus Day - Your very best chance to pick up a gift or something wonderful for yourself (don't worry, the nicest people do it) at a killer discount before the Holiday is upon you. May the wheel of fortune smile upon you.
Watch for it. Beginning in January, a series of classes (so to speak) will be held at Key North to better serve our customers. Occasionally you ask for help, advice and encouragement in your apparel, jewelry and accessory options. Getting It Together will be hosted by Cheryl Burrell, customer and Fashion Consultant, who will help us all with underpinnings, color, accessorizing and so much more. Details to come.
